The reference list is presented numerically and not alphabetically by author’s last name or the first word in the title. The superscripted number within the text of the article corresponds to the number in the “References.”

The citation style for "AIDS" does not match what said on the web page. It stated "Non-superscripted Number". But the actual style is superscripted. This is easy to fix in the document. But it is annoying. The journal actually prints Non-superscripted style numbers. Or did I misunderstand or misuse the Endnote X8?

I am writing a scientific veterinary paper and the format specifically requires that citations be superscripted numbers without parentheses. I cannot find a format in the References management for this type of citation. The closest I can get is parenthetical numbers (number). What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Mary Szymkowski, DVM
This is the Phys. Rev. B citation style, so \usepackage[aps,prb,citeautoscript]{revtex4-1} is all that is needed. The [citeautoscript] is optional, but takes care of putting the citation after punctuation if necessary, as is Phys. Rev. B house style. EndNote Styles - Nephron.
